The clash at the headquarters of SA Boxing pits blood against blood and marks a significant moment for one of the country’s most storied boxing dynasties.
Speaking on the birthday of his dad, the late, great Andre Thysse, Bryan says this fight is strictly business.
"Fighting and sparring, on fight night, it's something different. Mentally, I think me and Coach Damian spoke at the beginning when we got the contract, and we just prepared ourselves," said Bryan.
"It's not me fighting a family member, it's me fighting someone that's in my way to being the current great, and unfortunately that's business, it's the way it is."
Bryan defeated Michael Head in October to capture the once vacant SA title, and did so with technical brutality, but his trainer Damien Durandt believes a historic night lies in store for fight fans on Saturday.
"I'm glad they got their belt and they can show their family, and it can be alongside their father's SA belt, and its extra special," he added.
"I'm glad to be part of this history that these two boys have made, and I'm looking forward to Saturday night."
Boxing fans are sure to be royally entertained on Saturday night when Bryan and Gerhard Thysse must settle a family feud before Brandon Thysse and Roarke Knapp clash for the third time in the main event.
