Sead Ramovic confident of turning the corner for TS Galaxy

Following yet another defeat, which now stretches their run to a single victory in 15 DStv Premiership games, TS Galaxy's beleaguered coach Sead Ramovic remains confident of turning the corner.

The Rockets were among the impressive sides when the 2022/23 season kicked off in August – boosted by a surprise win over defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns, but have since endured a slippery slope.

Ramovic, who watched his side lose 2-1 to Sundowns in yet another meeting in Nelspruit on Tuesday night, is calm despite the brewing storm.

"We finally scored today also, so hopefully now we broke the things [sic] and the goals will start to come, this will also be helpful, of course," said Ramovic.

"But I believe in my team, I believe in my work, I believe in our work intensity [and] everything, how we train every day, so I am absolutely confident that we will turn things in the right direction."

Galaxy are currently in 12th place on the log table – four places above the automatic relegation spot, but Ramovic is still targeting the Top 8 with 12 matches remaining.

"There are 12 games to play and many points to get, and we will see. Hopefully our goal is still, of course, to look up for a top-eight [spot] but also not to forget to look down," he added.

"Because it can be really difficult if you come into a bad situation on the table, where stress and pressure will be coming even more, but we think positive and I think we will handle it soon and get some points."
