England were forced into a late change ahead of the opening ODI against Sri Lanka in Colombo after off-spin-bowling allrounder Will Jacks was ruled out having fallen ill overnight.
Will Jacks is set to make his first Test appearance in almost three years after England named their starting XI for the second Ashes encounter against Australia that starts in Brisbane on Thursday.
Harry Brook has replaced Ollie Pope as vice-captain while Will Jacks has been recalled to the Test squad as England unveiled their 16-man squad for the Ashes in Australia.
