The lanky paceman starred at the T20 World Cup, co-hosted by Sri Lanka and India, picking up 13 wickwet to sit third on the top wicket-takers list.
In 89 T20Is for Zimbabwe, Muzarabani has picked up 106 wickets and an economy rate of 7.24.
He has also featured in T20 leagues around the globe - including the CPL, ILT20, PSL and T20 Blast - and could now make his playing debut in the IPL.
He was a temporary replacement player for eventual champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru towards the closing stages of last season's IPL but not get a game.
The Knight Riders start their 2026 IPL campaign on 29 March against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede stadium.
