South Africa went down by two wickets with just two balls left at the Iqbal Cricket Stadium last night, and will have to win the next match tomorrow to keep the series alive.
Bosch says they have no intentions to roll over away from home, and will come back determined in the second game.
"Yeah, I think we're gonna approach the next two games as a must win, we came here to win the series and I think that's what we're gonna start to do. We'll make sure that we're on it in the next game so that we can really win this ODI series," Bosch said.
South Africa was put in to bat first by Pakistan and they posted 263 in just over 49 overs.
Bosch believes that they were probably about 20 runs short of what would have won them the game.
"It's probably not even a 300 wicket, I think 280 would have been more than enough. We bowled beautifully, I think in the middle stages, we let too many boundary balls, myself included but I think we weren't too far off from winning the game today, only making 260," he added.
Pakistan wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha put on a 91-run partnership in their chase, posting 55 and 62 respectively.
This, according to Bosch, was very damaging to their aspirations of winning, and things could have been different had they broken the partnership sooner.
"I think the partnership between Rizwan and Salman was a good one. I think if we managed to get one of them there we could have really put that, the back end of the team under pressure, their batters.
“So, it was one of those, I think we were one wicket away from really sealing this game and they batted beautifully and credit to them."
