The event starts in exactly nine days, and the South African ladies have batted comfortably in the two One Day Internationals against Pakistan in their ongoing series, which has given them two victories to claim the series with one match to spare in Lahore.
Abrahams says the players have been intentional about their batting in the last few months, and are now enjoying the fruits of their labour.
"I have to give the ladies credit for having the hunger of wanting to get better. Coupled with skill development, their positive mindset and belief in themselves is there for all to see."
Abrahams also believes that their batting order is strong enough, and any one of their players there can carry the team on any given day.
With the series already in the bag, the temptation is always to rotate the squad and give the other squad members some playing hours ahead of the global showpiece. Abrahams says that will depend on what the head coach wants to do.
Apart from Brits and Wolvaardt, who seem to be settled as the opening pair, the coach has tried different combinations in terms of the other positions in the batting order.
Abrahams indicated that they could continue with that depending on the demands of the match.
"In terms of combinations, it's horses for courses, and the conditions dictate the selections. As the game unfolds, it is always the responsibility of the batter to find strategic solutions to get ahead in the game, and you just have to read the play as it unfolds."
