They face the Black Caps for the second time, having lost to the same team last week, although they collected two wins against hosts Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club.
Bosch believes they were just not tight enough in their performance at certain stages last week, which ultimately cost them the game by 21 runs.
"We pride ourselves on being ruthless in all phases of the game, and I think we took our foot off the gas in our last game, especially in the fielding department," said the all-rounder.
He admitted that the World Test Championship last month has instilled a new sense of belief into the team, which will also give them an extra edge heading into tomorrow’s game.
He says the big win over Australia at Lord’s showed that anyone is beatable in any format of the game.
South Africa may have won their games against Zimbabwe, but the players are affording both teams in this series the same level of respect.
Bosch was quick to dismiss any suggestions that they have a different approach when facing the Black Caps.
"They are both international teams, and both teams can beat you on any given day. Zimbabwe are just as capable as New Zealand, but the margin for error is smaller when you face the black caps," explained Bosch.
Cricket South Africa recently announced the appointment of a new selection convenor for the first time in two years. Bosch was adamant that they’re not worried about the white ball tour of Australia as yet, where the new selection process will be in effect.
"As cricketers, selection matters are out of your control, and so it is best to just put your best foot forward every time you represent your club or your country."
