After electing to field first at their home venue, RCB quickly got into the Super Giants batting line-up by taking wickets at regular intervals before restricting the visitors to 146 all out.
Rasikh Salam was the pick of the bowlers for the hosts, the seamer finishing with impressive figures of 4-24 in four overs while veteran Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 3-27.
The Super Giants never really got any momentum into the innings with the bat as Mitch Marsh top-scoring with 40 while Ayush Badoni (38) and Mukul Choudhary (39) made it into the thirties but failed to kick on.
RCB lost Phil Salt (9) early in the run-chase but were always up with the required-rate Virat Kohli struck 49 from 34 balls.
Captain Rajat Patidar contributed 27 while before Tim David (14) and Romario Shepherd (14) finished the game off with more than four overs to spare.
RCB are sitting at the top of the IPL table with four wins from five while the Super Giants slipped to their third defeat to go with two victories.
