Anneke Bosch credits past experience in Zimbabwe for top form

While this is a historic first ever bilateral series between the two sides, Bosch believes her previous tour with the SA Emerging side helped her to hit the ground running in the opening two matches.

She top scored with 83 in the first match last Friday before another 65 runs on Sunday to help the team to a 2-0 series win in Bulawayo.

"We do analysis to figure out what their plans are, and out there on the field you just have to watch and react to the ball and take it from there. With me being here before, I do know some of the players but it's always nice to play against new opposition."

Bosch returned to the team for the first time in a few months, having also missed out on selection for the T20 World Cup in England this year.

She expressed how much it means for her to be back and what it took to get here.

"I've been putting in the work and I'm glad to see that things are starting to come together. The way you approach the game and the way you follow your own processes is more important than your skill."

The 33-year-old is one of the more experienced players in the team with a lot of the familiar faces absent on the tour. She says this is a good opportunity for younger players to gain some experience.
