Contrary to continued reports, mainly from the European media, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) President Patrice Motsepe has maintained that the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament will be held in the PAMOJA region as previously planned.

CEO of the AFCON 2027 Local Organising Committee Tony Lung’aho announced that PAMOJA AFCON will have one visa that will give football fans access to all three host countries, namely Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
