The Rockets head into the encounter at FNB Stadium without key trio Mlungisi Mbunjana, Oupa Motaung and Junio Zindoga, all suspended due to an accumulation of cautions.
With Galaxy having suffered seven defeats in their last eight matches, a full-strength squad would have been ideal, however, Beganovic refused to lean on absences as an excuse to pick up points.
"It's the third game in seven days obviously it's tough for us because we have a small squad, small numbers and obviously after the semi-final we have one player out now. After Polokwane City we have two players out but you know, again, we need to prepare for our game,” Beganovic said.
“We usually prepare our game for every next opponent, Kaizer Chiefs is a good club especially having a good form in the last couple of games but I think if you look in the past I think TS Galaxy always plays a good game against Kaizer Chiefs.
“I also think we have a great opportunity to do something and then if we want to come back I think we don't need to choose a better opportunity as we have against Kaizer Chiefs.
“If you have character, if you have strength to come back, to show again how we can shine, I think it's a beautiful opportunity against Kaizer Chiefs. Yes, Kaizer Chiefs play well but also I don't want to accept how we play bad games. How we don't play at all."
The Bosnian mentor insists that they will not go to Chiefs’ backyard like sheep to slaughter because of their poor run.
"We presented good football especially in the last game, we created so many opportunities and we scored one goal. Somehow we can put some balls or opportunities on the net because it is so strange how we miss some opportunities but it's also football, we need to account for everything even to miss a goal," the coach added.
“We create opportunities, we just sometimes can't score. Also, we don't go with a wide flag and say, okay we came here to lose the game, never, I don't wanna accept that.
“We go there to fight, it will be a tough game, yes but we will accept that opportunity to fight and I say every game is for us, it's crucial, it's important, why don't we try to collect points."
