Born in Nima, Accra, Kudus began his football journey with Strong Tower FC before joining the renowned Right to Dream Academy in 2012.
He moved to Europe ahead of his 18th birthday, signing for Danish side FC Nordsjaelland, where he scored 14 goals in 57 appearances between 2018 and 2020.
His rise continued at Ajax, whom he joined in July 2020. Kudus made an instant impact with four goal involvements in his first three appearances and played a key role in the club's 2020/21 Eredivisie and KNVB Cup triumphs.
Over three seasons in Amsterdam, he tallied 27 goals in 87 matches, with his standout 2022/23 campaign yielding 18 goals, including four in the UEFA Champions League.
Kudus joined West Ham in August 2023 and quickly adapted to Premier League football, scoring twice on his full debut in the Europa League. He ended the 2023/24 season with 14 goals and 9 assists, earning a Premier League Player of the Month nomination in December.
His sensational solo goal against SC Freiburg, which won West Ham's Goal of the Season, is also nominated for the 2024 FIFA Puskas Award.
Internationally, Kudus has been a star for Ghana, winning the Ghana Footballer of the Year award two years running.
