The 17-year-old scored his first ever goal at Anfield after showcasing some brilliant footwork before curling a fine effort beyond Bernd Leno to give his side a 36th minute lead.
Ngumoha has made 24 appearances for the Reds since making his debut in the FA Cup against Accrington Stanley last season, scoring twice for the club.
"I think coming back to Anfield [after PSG loss] and getting the three points, it's a great feeling, said the former Chelsea youth prospect to Sky Sports after the match.
The atmosphere was great again. So, a positive day. It was a special goal. Robbo made the overlap and created space for me. Then I just cut inside and I just aimed for the corner.
"Liverpool, for me, is the biggest club in the world. To start so young and the manager having belief in me and all the players, it's great. So, I've got to keep working hard and keep pushing on and just go again."
The youngster holds Liverpool's record of being the youngest footballer to start a first-team game when he faced Accrington at 16 years, five months and 21 days.
He also holds the club record of being the youngest player to play for the Reds in the UEFA Champions League after his debut in the 3-2 win over Atletico Madrid earlier this campaign but is yet to start a match in European competitions.
