No panic at TS Galaxy as Adnan Beganovic welcomes Tim Sukazi support

The Rockets are winless in their last eight Betway Premiership matches, having managed just a single point in 2026 so far – a slump that has seen them slip out of the top eight. 

Speaking exclusively to SABC Sport, the Bosnian mentor revealed he remains in regular contact with Sukazi as they work to arrest the slide.  

"I can tell you straight, and I will be honest with you – I had a conversation [on Friday] morning with my chairman and we spoke about everything," said Beganovic.

"I don't feel that negative energy from his side, and we spoke about what we need to do, how to find a way to encourage our players to do what we need to do in the next game.

"And then obviously we put more attention on some games at home, and when we need to do something, or when we need to win points, I'm so surprised at how much he supports and believes in us, in the team and the coaching staff.

"And I'm positively surprised about everything, so I can say I'm so happy to have him, as the chairman, understand everything, and as you know, he is a person involved in everything from the beginning and he knows all the information.

"So we are constantly in communication, everyday or at least 3-4 times during the week we talk about everything – from the preparation to players, everything that includes that part, and I think I can be happy because I know I feel that support."

The coach points to the silver lining in reaching the Nedbank Cup final but does not shy away from responsibility for their trajectory in the league. 

"We don't want to run away from our responsibility, we think about it, we talk about it, we analyse a lot, and we try to find a way to come out of the negative results in the league," he added.

"We have luck in the cup, we've reached the final, and now it's a better situation with the cup, obviously maybe our fans didn't expect to see us in the final, but we surprised this year.

"I think we've played a beautiful road in the cup, especially at home, and as I said in the beginning, we beat Sundowns and deserved to play at least in the final, so let's see what could happen in the final.

"In the league, the situation is what it is – it's difficult, yes, we've tried again to see how to fix everything because we also don't want to see TS Galaxy have a couple of games behind us without winning and without celebration."
