Saibari continued his impressive form by scoring the only goal in Morocco's 1-0 victory over Scotland, helping the Atlas Lions move to the top of Group C and strengthen their hopes of reaching the knockout stages.
Although the 24-year-old has already scored twice in the competition, he made it clear that Morocco's position in the standings matters more to him than individual recognition.
"I am happy with the two goals I have scored at the World Cup, but what makes me happier is having four points and being top of the group," Saibari said, according to Moroccoworldnews.com.
"There is still one more match to play and we hope to win that one as well."
The midfielder, who plays his club football for PSV Eindhoven, has enjoyed a breakthrough tournament. He opened his World Cup account in Morocco's 1-1 draw against Brazil before producing another decisive moment against Scotland.
His strike after just 71 seconds not only secured all three points for Morocco but also set two notable milestones - becoming the fastest goal scored at the 2026 tournament and the quickest World Cup goal by an Arab player.
Despite the growing attention around his performances, Saibari believes Morocco's collective spirit has been the foundation of their strong campaign.
"We all have the same objective. We play as one group. We are like a family," he said.
The midfielder also stressed that Morocco's ambitions extend beyond simply qualifying for the next round.
"We want to win every match and we will continue fighting in every game at the World Cup."
With four points from two matches, Morocco is in a strong position heading into its final Group C fixture, with the Atlas Lions aiming to maintain momentum and secure progression to the knockout phase.
