The 25-year-old joins on a permanent transfer from AC Milan and brings a wealth of top-level experience to Elland Road.
Capable of playing across the forward line - on either wing or as a central striker - Okafor began his career with FC Basel, where he quickly rose to prominence and was named Swiss Super League Young Player of the Year.
His performances earned him a move to Red Bull Salzburg, where he became a key figure. Over more than 100 appearances in Austria, Okafor was directly involved in 57 goals and helped the club to four league titles and three Austrian Cups. He also impressed in Europe, scoring six times in 16 UEFA Champions League outings.
In 2023, Okafor joined AC Milan. He was a regular in his debut season as the Rossoneri finished runners-up in Serie A.
The following campaign saw him continue as an important squad member before a winter loan to Napoli, where he played a pivotal role in their march to a historic fourth Scudetto.
On the international stage, Okafor made his senior Switzerland debut in 2019 against England in the Nations League finals.
Since then, he has earned 24 caps and featured at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
