The two sides have met on three previous occasions, with City winning both Betway Premiership clashes this season with a 2-0 score line after having beaten The Rockets in last season's Nedbank Cup Round of 16 clash. 

The Citizens are eyeing their first silverware in the top-flight while TS Galaxy target their second Nedbank Cup title since their famous victory over Kaizer Chiefs in 2019.

Both sides have interim head coaches with Pitso Dladla taking over from Gavin Hunt at City while Bernard Parker leads Galaxy after they parted ways with Adnan Beganovic recently.
