The Catalans scored three unanswered goals in the second half of the league encounter against bottom of the table Oviedo following a goalless first half.
Hansi Flick admitted his side has a slow start to the match but grew into it especially after scoring the opener in the 52nd minute through Dani Olmo.
"I'm satisfied with the team," said Flick after the match.
"Especially in the second half. The first half was harder for us. Overall, we've had a big workload of matches, and I don't like to make excuses, but today, at the start, it was tough for us.
"The most important thing was scoring the first goal, because from then on we were able to play our game."
The German mentor also praised Dani Olmo and Eric Garcia's contribution in the victory.
"Olmo has improved a lot in recent matches. He's capable of scoring goals, providing assists, and controlling the ball. That's very important," added Flick.
"Eric is at an extremely high level. Wherever he plays, he performs well, and I'm very happy about that. He feels comfortable in the role of leader; he's an important player."
The result moves Barca back to the top of the La Liga table, ahead by a point from rivals Real Madrid.
