Emy Casaletti-Bwalya appointed CEO of 2025 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup

Emy Casaletti-Bwalya has been appointed the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup – Seychelles 2025.

Currently, the CEO of Optimize Agency – a Marketing Agency that has the likes of world wheelchair tennis star Khotso Montjane as a client, Casaletti-Bwalya is vastly experienced in Marketing with a career spanning over 40 years.

The Italian-born, South African-based Emy will oversee all Marketing and Communications activities of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the 13th edition of the Beach Soccer World Cup and will be working hand in hand with FIFA.

She will hold the CEO position for a period of one year.

Casaletti-Bwalya has travelled extensively to over 50 countries around the world as a FIFA instructor and has also had stints with clothing brands Kappa and Reebok - where she worked closely with Bafana Bafana, Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns and Sharks Rugby.

She has also held the role of Head of Marketing for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa LOC.

The tournament will be held in Victoria, the capital of Seychelles from 1 – 11 May 2025, marking the first time the country has hosted a FIFA tournament.

It will also be the first edition to be held in Africa – the previous event took place in Dubai.

A total of 16 teams, including the hosts, will take part. Brazil are the defending champions.
