Champions League's Team of the Season includes three Arsenal players

Arsenal had three stars - David Raya, Gabriel, and Declan Rice - named in UEFA's Champions League Team of the Season after a remarkable run to the final.

The recognition followed a campaign in which Mikel Arteta's side reached the Champions League final while going unbeaten in normal and extra time throughout the competition.

Across the tournament, Arsenal displayed exceptional defensive resilience, recording nine clean sheets as they established themselves as one of the most difficult teams to break down in Europe.

Their European journey ended in heartbreak in Budapest on Saturday, where they were narrowly defeated by Paris Saint-Germain in a penalty shoot-out.

The final loss, coming after a tense and closely fought contest, was widely viewed as a harsh conclusion to a campaign defined by control and consistency in open play.

Despite finishing as runners-up, Arsenal's performances earned significant individual recognition, with Raya, Gabriel and Rice highlighted as standout contributors across all competitions.

Each played a key role in sustaining the team's balance, defensive structure and midfield authority during the club's deep continental run.

The full UEFA Champions League Team of the Season also included Marcos Llorente, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, Michael Olise, Vitinha, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembele, and Harry Kane, reflecting a blend of elite performers from across Europe.
