The two sides booked their places in the last eight with victories over Bafana Bafana and Tanzania respectively earlier this week.
While Cameroon are not intimidated by the Atlas Lions, Mbeumo was careful not to underestimate their quality as the tournament intensifies.
"It's obviously a very exciting game that is coming up. We know they have a very good team and it won't be easy, but we are ready."
Cameroon have been growing in confidence at the tournament and Mbeumo says this was evidenced by how they battled through against Bafana.
"Against South Africa, we played against a very good team that plays good football, but we stuck to our plan and managed to score two goals. We managed to stay very solid and it was a positive outcome for us in the end."
Mbeumo also believes their defensive structure has been one of their strongest points at the AFCON, which they will need against Morocco.
