The attacking midfielder has made 42 appearances for the Gunners since his summer move from fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace, scoring nine goals while providing six assists for his new club.
He will be looking to contribute again when the North London side face Sporting in the second leg UEFA Champions League quarter-final fixture, where his side carries a 1-0 lead on aggregate.
"We all know the position that we're in," said Eze to the club website.
"The opportunity that we have, and we know what's at stake. The focus is on the opportunity that we have and taking it with both hands.
"These are the moments that you want to play in as a footballer. You want to play in the high-stakes games, you want to play in all the competitions, and you want to win as much as you can."
Arsenal will be looking to reach the semi-finals of the prestigious European club competition for the second successive season, while also attempting to reach their first final since the 2006 loss against Barcelona.
"It's a beautiful time, and for me, I'm so excited, I know my team is excited, I know the boys, so we're going to give everything for sure," added the England international.
"To be in the position where we can win the competition and where we've got the actual opportunity, for me, that's the most special thing. I'm grateful to God for it."
Mikel Arteta's side is unbeaten against the Portuguese outfit in the Champions League, winning both of their previous meetings.
