TS Galaxy coach Adnan Beganovic believes forward Puso Dithejane has the quality to thrive in Europe’s top five leagues.
The 21-year-old, who was named Betway Premiership Player of the Month for August, has been in blistering form, scoring three goals and providing two assists in just five matches so far this season.
Dithejane has dominated headlines since chairman Tim Sukazi boldly claimed his data metrics mirror those of Real Madrid superstar Vinícius Júnior, with Beganovic echoing those sentiments to SABC Sport.
"For us it's special because he's our player and he's spent two-and-a-half years with us, and I think this season he can reach more, he can explode" said Beganovic.
"And he has the ability and skill to reach higher and show more, and he's started to score goals, which is very important for us because of how we create our model.
"We want to find many players who can score in our team, and we don't want to depend only on one player anymore, but I think he has a beautiful future if he stays healthy and works hard, I think he can play for the biggest teams in this country.
"Maybe with the ability he has, he can find a club in Europe because we spoke about it – his GPS data is amazing, and when we compare it with other teams in other leagues, he's close to [top] five leagues in the world, I think."
Beganovic also issued a warning to domestic rivals that the best is yet to come from Dithejane.
"I think it's just the beginning, I think he needs to and can show more in this season, and I expect him to score more goals and finish this season with more than 10 goals," he added."
