They travel to Loftus Versfeld in decent league form having only lost once since Hunt took over in January, which has seen them climb up to ninth on the standings.
"I think they haven't lost in 52 games there at Loftus, so it's not going to be an easy task. We are looking forward to it and we will go there with a good plan and see if it works."
He added that they have improved a lot in creating scoring opportunities in the opposition’s penalty box, and believes this is the only way they stand any chance of beating a team chasing a ninth straight championship title.
"You have to create chances. If you look at the stats and data, we're number one now with crosses in the box where we were number 12 at one point. So that's a good sign of us progressing in that part of the game. If you get the ball into the oppositions box more often, you will have more opportunities to score, and hopefully something falls for us on the night."
Following a blip against Richards Bay, Stellies returned to winning ways against Sekhukhune United to keep their top eight ambitions alive.
Stellenbosch will be without left-back Asekho Tiwani who’s on loan from Sundowns and not allowed to play against his parent club. Hunt says the 20-year-old’s absence will be felt in the team.
"Tiwani is a big blow, he's played majority of the second round for us at left fullback. His absence is a huge blow for us, but it is what it is, we just have to concentrate and I'm sure his replacement will do a good job for us."
