Ireland 46-19 Australia
Ireland produced their most fluent attacking display of recent times, storming to a record 46â-19 win over Australia.
Mack Hansen, starting at full-back, delivered a stunning 28-minute hat-trick that set the tone as Ireland raced clear early.
The Wallabies, guided by former Ireland coach Joe Schmidt, clawed back to 19-14 at half-time through Len Ikitau and Fraser McReight, and later added a Billy Pollard consolation.
But Ireland's control grew after the break as Sam Prendergast kicked a drop goal before Jack Crowley added further points from the tee.
Caelan Doris, Ryan Baird and Robbie Henshaw crossed to seal a six-try victory. With five straight wins over Australia, Ireland now turn their focus to world champions South Africa.
Wales 24-23 Japan
Jarrod Evans' last-kick penalty ended Wales' two-year home misery and secured a tense 24-23 win over Japan.
New head coach Steve Tandy saw his side survive a 20-minute red card for Josh Adams and a fierce Japanese performance built on tries from Kippei Ishida and Faulua Makisi, plus 13 points from fly-half Seungsin Lee.
Wales' patchy attack still produced scores through Dan Edwards, Louis Rees-Zammit - on his first Test start since returning from American football - and Nick Tompkins, with Edwards converting all three.
Japan repeatedly regained the lead and looked the sharper side in open play, but a late yellow for Harry Hockings opened the door. Evans stepped on and coolly struck from the tee to break a 10-match Cardiff losing streak.
France 34-21 Fiji
France survived a dramatic collapse to beat Fiji 34-21 after surrendering an early 21-0 lead.
Nicolas Depoortere scored twice, including the late try that finally settled French nerves, while Thomas Ramos contributed three conversions and two penalties before a late sin-bin.
Julien Marchand and Charles Ollivon added first-half tries as France dominated the opening quarter, helped by Selestino Ravutaumada's yellow card.
But Fiji roared back as Kalaveti Ravouvou, Ravutaumada and Jiuta Wainiqolo all crossed, with Simione Kuruvoli perfect from the tee to level the match early in the second half.
France regained control only through Ramos' penalties and Depoortere's decisive late burst. Despite the win, Fabien Galthie's side again showed inconsistency ahead of hosting Australia next.
