Six South Africans set to feature for Barbarians

Three Springboks and three South African franchise players will run out for the Barbarians against Samoa in Brive, France, on Friday.

Scrumhalf Herschel Jantjies, hooker Joseph Dweba and utility forward Jean-Luc du Preez are in the starting XV for the Barbarians. The trio are in France on standby for the Springbok World Cup Squad in case of injuries.

Other starters are the Sharks' durable duo of Reniel Hugo at lock and Dylan Richardson at flank. Stormers hooker Andre-Hugo Venter is on the bench.

Former Samoa international Pat Lam will coach the Barbarian team, where his cousin, Jack Lam, starts at flank. The match will be Samoa's only World Cup warm-up match before the global showpiece gets underway next month.
