Michele Clemente ready to collide with Nkosi Ndebele for PFL Africa Gold

PFL Africa bantamweight contender Michele Clemente believes he has what it takes to shock Nkosi Ndebele when they collide on April 10 at SunBet Arena in Pretoria.

The Italian mixed martial artist will return to the elite level after a long hiatus due to injury.

Speaking through a translator at the pre-fight press conference, Clemente expressed a sense of profound readiness despite his time away from the cage.

“I arrived in South Africa to fight in this PFL Africa event after fighting the best Italian fighters, and I have reached this excellent level thanks to my team," said Clemente.

“I’ve been away from the cage for almost two years because of various injuries, but I have no worry about this. I feel ready to face anyone who comes my way."

Clemente was also vocal about his preference for a stand-up war. He made it clear that while he has prepared for the wrestling phases of this fight, he admitted that he is most dangerous in a striking exchange.

“Let’s say I’m a striker. I love to exchange in a stand-up fight, but I’m ready for any eventuality that might arise in this fight with Nkosi,” he added.

The Italian challenger will hope to shock the home crowd and spoil the mood on Friday night, but it won’t be easy to pull off against the far more active champion.
