The Proteas will shift attention to their final preparations just before they travel to Australia to resume with the series which takes place from 4 October.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Chawane says they have worked hard in camp, and now will look to put their best foot forward in order to win.
"We want to push ourselves against Australia. We have prepared well and want to play the best netball that we know. We look to put our best foot forward. And I think it will take dedication and consistency to claim a win in this series," said Chawane.
Chawane adds that their final camp will be in Australia just a few days before the series starts. She says it will be used to fine tune their combinations.
“We will utilise a few days there for our final camp. The focus will be to fine-tune our combinations to make sure that the plan is set ahead of the series," added Chawane.
Earlier this year, the 29-year-old was announced as the Cardiff Dragons’ new wing-attack, and she says she has learnt a lot of lessons playing abroad that she can now bring back to the national team.
"Playing abroad has taught me a lot, it comes with a lot of lessons. I like that everything I have learned, I can return home and implement it within the national team set up. And I am always willing to share the knowledge," said Chawane.
Netball South Africa and Puma launched the new national team kit on Wednesday for the 2025/26 season, with Chawane full of praise for their sponsor for always backing the national team.
"First, big ups to Puma, it is a beautiful kit and it is very comfortable. I am very happy, I can wait to wear it and show up on court. I know the rest of the team will enjoy playing in it," she concluded.
