The SA U21 team departed for London on Tuesday with a final series of warm-up matches scheduled before the 2025 World Cup campaign kicks off on 19 September in Gibraltar.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Maseko says coach Precious Mthembu’s charges should enjoy every moment that comes with experiencing netball at the highest level.
"Go out there and enjoy every moment, and embrace the opportunity you have been given to represent your country, so fly the South African flag high," said Maseko.
"Embrace the fact that you are role models to young girls out there and you are also literally a step away from being a Spar Protea, which is a senior player.
"So really ensure that you use this opportunity to also glorify God, and to just represent your country with the highest honour."
The 23-year-old goal attack also advised on how the Baby Proteas can go all the way to the final come 28 September, highlighting the importance of consistency and resilience
"What will it take to see themselves in the final? I think, for me, it's really about consistency – if they can be consistent from the first game to the last," she added.
"If they can be resilient, have that grit and to know that even when the going gets tough, they still need to focus on achieving and looking at the bigger goal."
