Zimbabwe name Wessly Madhevere, Tafadzwa Tsiga in T20I squad for India series

Fast bowler Newman Nyamhuri has also been drafted into the 15-man squad with Clive Madande, Tinotenda Maposa and Tashinga Musekiwa dropped after the series loss to Bangladesh.

Tsiga has played ten Tests for Zimbabwe, but is yet to make his white-ball international debut, while middle-order batter Madhevere played the last of his 79 T20Is back in July 2025.

Zimbabwe fell to a 2-1 series defeat against Bangladesh but will look to bounce back against the T20 world champions that come off six losses in the shortest format on their tour to Ireland and England.

The three matches against India will all be played at the Harare Sport Club on 23, 25 and 26 July.
