South Africa will host both Australia and England in multi-format matches in the coming months, with Bangladesh also slated to tour the country in a busy calendar. Conrad says this is the most exciting summer in a while for the cricket fans who will be spoilt with top tier action.
"In terms of the summer, it's exciting, I don't think we've ever experienced a cricketing summer where you have two massive nations like Australia and England and then sandwiched in between, a resurgent Bangladesh team who are obviously trying to show that they belong as well,” Conrad said.
“So, if you're a cricket lover, there's a lot to look forward to and if you're not, you better become one."
The Proteas will play England through the turn of the year into early 2027, and Conrad also revealed that India may also tour SA as part of their preparations for the World Cup.
He also hopes they can be able to tour the UK in June next year to get some away action under their belts.
"Look I've heard that India might be coming prior to the World Cup but there's nothing obviously being nailed down yet but like I said earlier, I'm expecting that teams that are going to be playing in the World Cup would want to come to South Africa early and play in the conditions and experience the conditions,” he added.
“So, yeah, we are expecting a few more matches as a build up."
