How can I watch the Proteas v Pakistan at the 2023 Cricket World Cup?

The Proteas can take a giant leap towards the 2023 Cricket World Cup semi-finals if they defeat Pakistan on Friday.

Having just passed the halfway stage of the tournament, the race for the final four places at the top of the points table is hotting up. With four wins from five games, the Proteas are second on the log and well-placed to reach the knockout stage.

The South Africans are coming off another superlative performance with the bat, posting a mammoth 382/5 against Bangladesh on Tuesday

The bowlers backed up their team-mates with a flurry of early wickets and while Bangladesh recovered, the winning margin was still a healthy 149 runs. This was off the back of scoring 399 against reigning ODI World Champions England on Saturday.

All this is despite the continued absence of in-form captain Temba Bavuma, who has been down with stomach issues. Heinrich Klaasen has been the destroyer at the back end of the innings, collecting 109 (67) and 90 (49) in his last two outings.

Meanwhile, Pakistan‘s World Cup dreams have taken a serious knock. After starting the global showpiece with comfortable wins over the Netherlands and Sri Lanka, Babar Azam's men have lost three on the trot.

Worryingly, the last loss came on Monday against Afghanistan, who continue to defy the odds in India. The Afghans chased down Pakistan’s 282/7 to earn a remarkable eight-wicket win to go with their incredible win over England.
