Durban's Super Giants and Sunrisers Eastern Cape share spoils after SA20 clash rained out

The SA20 clash between Durban's Super Giants and the Sunrisers Eastern Cape was abandoned on Friday night due to rain.

The toss was originally delayed at Kingsmead due to drizzle, with the game eventually called off without a ball being bowled as the weather conditions worsened.

Both teams take two points from the tie, to leave Sunrisers top of the standings with 19 from six matches, and the Giants in fifth place on 10 points from seven matches.

It is the third time DSG have seen one of their SA20 matches abandoned and the Sunrisers' second.
