The result marked a new low in United's disappointing start to the season, placing head coach Michael Carrick under increasing pressure as doubts grow over his future at Old Trafford.
Captain Bruno Fernandes has also publicly questioned Carrick's tactical approach, further fuelling speculation about the manager's position following the heavy loss.
Carrick was furious after the final whistle but made his way towards the travelling supporters at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia to apologise to the United fans who remained in the away section.
"It wasn't a great atmosphere in [the dressing room], which everyone can understand, but we need to move on," Tielemans told MUTV.
"We have got games coming, but it was very poor [against Como].
"Everything was missing. We were disjointed as a team, we didn't play well together, our press was off.
"When we were on the ball, we couldn't make the right decisions. Obviously you get frustrated in the game and they played around us too easily so, like I said, it was a poor night."
He added: "It's tough times for them (the fans), especially supporting the club, and we have to fight as players."
The United boss echoed Tielemans' assessment of the team's shortcomings, while the Belgian midfielder emphasised that performances on the pitch ultimately matter more than words. United must now demonstrate meaningful improvement rather than simply acknowledge their problems.
Carrick's side return to Premier League action on Sunday when they welcome Bournemouth to Old Trafford.
