The 23-year-old right-wing-back, born in Belgium but a Cameroon international, arrives at Molineux after two seasons in Serie A, where he earned recognition as the league's fastest player. His new deal also includes a 12-month extension option.
Tchatchoua began his professional career at Charleroi, making his debut as a teenager four years ago. He quickly made an impression, scoring his first senior goal away to Genk from the right flank and adding a second against RFC Seraing from the left. His pace and versatility across both wings soon became trademarks of his style of play.
During his time in Belgium, Tchatchoua declared for Cameroon and featured for the U23 side before making his senior debut in June 2024, appearing in a World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde.
That same year, he contributed to Cameroon's successful qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations, set to take place in December 2024.
His move to Hellas Verona initially came via loan, but he wasted little time proving his worth, registering an assist on his debut against Frosinone.
His performances secured a permanent transfer, and in the 2023/24 campaign he went on to feature in 43 matches across club and international duties. His efforts helped Verona retain their Serie A status.
