Kenya president, honourable Dr. William Ruto announced last week that the two European giants will lock horns in a friendly at the opening of Raila Odinga Stadium at the beginning of January.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Schächter says this shows the Bundesliga’s dedication to growing its relationships and fanbase across the continent.
"For me it's fantastic to see Bayern Munich play that opening match in Nairobi because Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world and I believe the whole league can win with Bayern's presence in Africa."
Recently, Bayern Munich star Harry Kane also became the first Bundesliga player to win the Ballon D’or in three decades.
Schächter says Kane has represented Bayern Munich and the Bundesliga in the best possible way on and off the field.
"We all saw how good Kane has been for Bayern and for England and I believe he was 100% the right person to win the Balon D'or because his performances have been absolutely outstanding. He represents his club and the Bundesliga in the best possible way and it proves that the league can showcase and develop players to the highest possible level you can achieve individually."
United Football Solutions facilitates coaching, education programmes and development clinics for German clubs like 1. FSV Mainz 05, Arminia Bielefeld, Eintracht Braunschweig and Werder Bremen across South Africa.
Schächter is happy with how Bundesliga clubs are intentionally working at grassroots level in the continent.
Schächter has also revealed that United Football Solutions with his Bundesliga Club Partners is set to significantly expand its activities, with an ambitious pipeline of additional activations, clinics and initiatives planned for the remainder of this year and throughout 2027, further strengthening and expanding its reach and impact.
