World Cup final referee Szymon Marciniak will take charge of the Champions League final between Manchester City and Inter Milan next month, organiser UEFA has announced.

It will be the second successive City tie the Pole has overseen, with the 42-year-old having been the man in the middle for last week's semi-final second leg against Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium.

He will be assisted by compatriots Pawel Sokolnicki and Tomasz Listkiewicz for the July 10 showpiece at Istanbul's Ataturk Stadium with another Pole, Tomasz Kwiatowski, as the VAR.

Marciniak refereed the World Cup final between Argentina and France in Qatar last December.

European governing body UEFA also announced that Premier League referee Anthony Taylor will oversee the Europa League final between Sevilla and Roma in Budapest on May 31.

The 44-year-old, who has taken charge of six Champions League games and one Europa League match this season, heads a largely English team of officials.

His assistants will be Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn with Michael Oliver the fourth official, Stuart Burt the reserve assistant referee and Stuart Attwell the VAR.

Wales' Cheryl Foster will referee the Women's Champions League final between Barcelona and Wolfsburg in Eindhoven on June 3. England's Rebecca Welch will be the fourth official.

Carlos Del Cerro Grande of Spain will be in charge when West Ham play Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League final in Prague on June 7.
