Supersport and AmaZulu seek return to winning ways

Golden Arrows v Sekhukhune United

Both Sekhukhune and Arrows hit an inconsistent patch of results in the last couple of months and head into the next game placed 11th and 12th on the table respectively.

For the home side, Arrows recorded two wins and three losses in their last five league matches. However, A™Bafana Bes™thende will face Sekhukhune on the back of a 1-0 away win against a stubborn Swallows FC outfit.

Babina Noko played to a 1-1 draw against Chippa United at Peter Mokaba Stadium in their last league match, extending their winless streak in the league to three matches.

AmaZulu FC v Swallows FC

AmaZulu FC will go head to head with a relegation-threatened Swallows FC side in a DStv Premiership match at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.

Usuthu are winless in their last two matches having lost 2-0 to Stellenbosch FC at home on March 17 and the defeat ended their two-match unbeaten run in the league.

The KwaZulu-Natal giants are placed 10th on the DStv Premiership standings - three points behind sixth-placed Richards Bay as the battle to finish in the top eight intensifies.

Meanwhile, Swallows are also winless in their last two matches having succumbed to a 1-0 loss to Golden Arrows at home on March 17 and it was their second consecutive league defeat.

The Soweto giants are placed 14th on the DStv Premiership standings - three points above the relegation zone and a win over AmaZulu would see Amaswaiswai move further away from the bottom two spots.

TS Galaxy v Maritzaburg United

TS Galaxy will battle it out with a struggling Maritzburg United side in a DStv Premiership match at the Mbombela Stadium on Sunday.

The Rockets snapped their two-match winless run across all competitions in style when they hammered Richards Bay 4-0 at home on March 19 and they are undefeated in their last five league matches.

The Mpumalanga side is placed seventh on the DStv Premiership standings - three points behind fifth-placed Cape Town City and a win over Maritzburg would see Galaxy cement their spot in the top eight.

On the other hand, Maritzburg extended their winless run to seven matches across all competitions when they lost 3-2 to Kaizer Chiefs at home on March 18 and it was their fourth successive defeat in the league.

The Team of Choice are placed 15th on the DStv Premiership standings - three points behind 14th-placed Swallows FC and Maritzburg will be desperate to ease their relegation fears with a win over Galaxy.

SuperSport United v Chippa United

SuperSport will be targeting a return to winning ways after seeing a six-match unbeaten run come to an end with a 1-0 reverse to Orlando Pirates in Soweto a fortnight ago.

Gavin Hunt's side allowed both Pirates (3rd) and Kaizer Chiefs (4th) to close within two points of them with seven matches left to play in the race for CAF Champions League football.

The Chilli Boys picked up their first point under Lentjies in a 1-1 draw with Sekhukhune United in Polokwane prior to the international break on 18 March.

The 38-year-old had overseen a 2-0 defeat to AmaZulu in his first game back at the helm since replacing the sacked Morgan Mammila at the end of February.
