It’s understood Mbule – not for the first time – violated Babina Noko’s code of conduct and was immediately put on ice by head coach Eric Tinkler, a disciplinarian who takes no prisoners.
The midfielder has not made the squad for Sekhukhune’s previous two Betway Premiership clashes against Orlando Pirates and Magesi FC, spelling a possible premature end to his stint at the club.
The public broadcaster reported in March that Mbule had been cleared following a similar episode of misconduct while Lehlohonolo Seema was still at the helm, but the club has seemingly it’s time to cut ties.
Mbule is not expected to play any further role in the two remaining games for Sekhukhune against Kaizer Chiefs and Golden Arrows.
But he is not the only one in hot water with the club’s hierarchy with confirmation to SABC Sport that defender Katlego Mohamme and attacker Lindokuhle Mtshali also face a bleak future.
Mohamme is alleged to have arrived in camp along with Mbule in a poor condition while in camp ahead of their match against Orlando Pirates last week, while Mtshali is believed to have gone AWOL.
The duo are still contracted to the club beyond the current season and the conversation now is whether to charge them via an internal hearing or negotiate a termination agreement effective June 30.
