Report: Man Utd, Man City, Spurs all interested in Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo

Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham are all in the race to sign Antoine Semenyo, as the Bournemouth forward emerges as one of the most sought-after players.

The 25-year-old Ghana international is expected to be a major talking point in the coming weeks, with multiple Premier League giants monitoring his situation closely.

Semenyo has been in outstanding form during the 2024-25 season at the Vitality Stadium, registering seven goals and three assists from 15 league appearances.

His performances have placed him among the Premier League's most productive forwards, with only Erling Haaland and Igor Thiago scoring more goals so far this campaign. Capable of operating as both a central forward and wide attacker, his versatility has further enhanced his appeal.

Manchester United's interest has become more concrete after transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that the club have been in contact with Semenyo's agent. Liverpool are also understood to be tracking developments, ensuring competition remains intense at the top end of the market.

A January transfer is considered increasingly likely due to a release clause in Semenyo's Bournemouth contract.

The clause would allow him to leave for 60 million pounds plus 5 million in add-ons this winter, with the fee dropping closer to 50 million during the summer window. Given his current output and age profile, the valuation is widely regarded as attractive.

"Tottenham are really interested in Semenyo, but this depends on what the player wants to do. But Tottenham have a genuine interest in Semenyo," Romano said via his YouTube channel.

"This week, again, Manchester United and Manchester City called to understand the situation of Semenyo.

"Between Monday and Tuesday, some calls took place from Manchester United and Manchester City to understand the situation of Semenyo... 65m release clause.

"So these three clubs [Tottenham, United and City] all called and Liverpool already called in November. But Liverpool are now assessing what they want to do in January and also what's going to happen with Mohamed Salah before deciding on Semenyo."
