The national team departs for Casablanca this evening and will face the Atlas Lionesses on 2 December as they officially kick off their WAFCON preparations.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Jane says a win is needed to see the team wrap 2025 up on a positive note.
"It's going to be important for the team to get a positive result against Morocco, and that can be a good confidence boost for the team," said Jane.
"And it's been a long year, so we want to close it off with a good performance – we've got new players in the team and we've got youngsters, so we're hoping they can also get the experience required for the team to move forward."
Jane adds that the Morocco friendly is an opportunity to test themselves against one of the most competitive teams on the continent.
"With the experience we've had over the years, a lot of changes have taken place, especially in the African continent, and a lot of teams have improved," she added.
"We know Morocco has changed for the better too – they've played two consecutive WAFCON finals, so we cannot take that for granted.
"With the new players, we're trying to show them and let them know what it takes to play against such teams, because it's going to be a long road for them, so if they can learn as much as possible and as early as possible then the future of this team is in good hands."
