Orlando Pirates striker Boitumelo Radiopane has revealed that his confirmed loan move to Cape Town Spurs next season excites him because he gets to work with the legendary Shaun Bartlett.

At just 20 years old, the Buccaneers supporters were hoping he finally gets regular game time under new coach Jose Riveiro, following his impressive displays for the reserve side.

With Pirates having brought in Evidence Makgopa and Bienvenu Eva Nga to compete with Kwame Peprah upfront, it was always going to be tricky for the youngster to be considered among the frontrunners to lead the line at the club.

But he says he would have loved the chance to prove his worth.

œI feel happy because this is an opportunity I have always wanted. Now I™ve got it and, to add to that, coach Shaun Bartlett is someone that has had a lot of influence. This is a big chance for me, I™ve never played in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, so I am ready to take the opportunity," Roadiopane told the media in Durban.

œI wanted to play for Pirates next season [but] things didn™t go my way. But I am grateful to the club for what they™ve done for me. The Diski Challenge team is different now, it™s not the same group I played with. But I will give them a call and try to always catch up.
