The final, set for Saturday at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, comes just a year after PSG stunned Inter Milan with a remarkable 5-0 victory in Munich to lift their first Champions League trophy.
Now, the French champions face Arsenal, with expectations rising that PSG could become one of the great modern European teams by winning back-to-back titles.
PSG forward and Ballon d'Or winner Ousmane Dembele praised the impact of his coach and the unity within the squad.
"He is a top-class coach with clear ideas. He is full of energy. He is exceptional and we hope he will stay for a very long time," Dembele said.
The French international has been transformed under Luis Enrique, moving from a wide winger into a central attacking force. After scoring 35 goals last season and winning the Ballon d'Or, he has continued his form this year with 19 goals and 11 assists in just 24 starts despite injury management.
Midfielder Khvicha Kvaratskhelia also believes PSG are ready for another major triumph.
"We understand that we are the reigning champions and we can win again," he said. "It will be difficult, but we've proved we can beat any team if we play our way and give everything."
Since arriving in 2023, Luis Enrique has overseen a major shift at PSG, moving the club away from its previous superstar-focused era that featured departures of Lionel Messi, Neymar, and later Kylian Mbappe.
Now, the squad is built on energy, discipline, and tactical intensity, with younger talents forming the core of a team that has reached three consecutive Champions League semi-finals.
The challenge against Arsenal will be significant, but PSG's record under Luis Enrique has made them favourites to retain the title. Only Real Madrid (2016-2018) and AC Milan in the modern era have managed back-to-back European Cup wins.
Luis Enrique believes his side are still building something special.
"When I came to the club I said my objective was to make history," he said. "We want to keep writing history because we feel there are still things to be achieved."
