My blood is boiling-Vincent Kompany reacts to Jamal Musiala injury

Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany painted a picture of the dressing room following Jamal Musiala’s horror leg break.

The 22-year-old was involved in a collision with PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma on the stroke of half-time during their FIFA Club World Cup quarterfinal tie in the USA.

Musiala was treated immediately by medics on the field and subsequently rushed to the hospital, with reports suggesting he’d be ruled out for nearly five months.

His teammate and captain, Manuel Neuer said Donnarumma was reckless, while Kompany insisted what happened to Musiala was unfair.

"The situation was really tough to accept. There is many things in life that are much more important than football, but in the end, for these guys, it's their life.

"Someone like Jamal lives for this, and for it to have happened in the manner in which it did is frustrating and saddening," expressed Kompany.

Kompany could not give an update on the leg break at his post-match press conference.

Meanwhile, the former Manchester City defender was asked about the influence of one of his former coaches during his playing days in the shape of Manuel Pellegrini.

"When Pellegrini first came to Manchester City, I realised he is focused on playing front-foot and attacking football. I think his Manchester City team was one of the most attacking teams I've ever played in."
