After a lengthy spell on the sidelines, Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana attacker, Monnapule Saleng, is excited to return to Orbit College for the upcoming Betway Premiership season.
He was speaking to SABC Sport from Olympia Park stadium in Rustenburg, where he was unveiled today by the newly promoted Premier Soccer League Premier Division side.
Orbit College achieved promotion to the top flight of South African football via the PSL Promotion Playoffs, during which they defeated both Cape Town City and Casric Stars.
Saleng says he is excited to be back in Rustenburg, and to be a main feature of Pogiso Makhoye's unit.
"I must give thanks to the man above. I am very happy to be back home. Orbit College is a great team that plays exciting football, and I cannot wait to be a part of that, " expressed the 27-year-old.
Saleng last played for Pirates in December last year in a CAF Champions League game against Al Ahly, and he spoke to the National Broadcaster about the tough period over the last six months.
There has undoubtedly been all sorts of speculation around Saleng, but he is happy to be starting afresh with a team and coach he knows very well.
"It wasn't an easy decision to retun home, especially after a long season without playing.
