Mikel Arteta: Arsenal's spending not necessarily over

Arsenal have been quite active this summer, having already spent approximately £215million to secure the signings of Kai Havertz from Chelsea, Jurrien Timber from Ajax, and notably, England international Declan Rice from West Ham United for a record-breaking fee.

Despite the significant spending, Arteta hinted in an interview with Sky Sports ahead of Arsenal's match against the MLS All-Stars in Washington D.C. that the club may not be finished yet in terms of acquisitions.

One potential departure that appears increasingly likely is the sale of Folarin Balogun this summer.

According to reports, Arsenal have placed a £50million price tag on the striker, attracting interest from Inter, Atalanta, and LOSC Lille.

Regarding possible additional signings, sources claim that Arsenal have initiated talks for the acquisition of Gremio midfielder Bitello.

Representatives from Arsenal were present at Gremio's match against Bahia last Wednesday to assess the player.
