The veteran striker, whose current deal runs until June, has been linked with a possible exit despite being offered a renewal. However, Lewandowski made it clear that no final decision has been taken.
âWe still have a little time,â he said. âThe club knows what I think and I have had time to think. I donât want to talk about offers and my future. The remaining games and the goals are more important.â
Barcelona are eager to secure the title as quickly as possible, but Lewandowski stressed that outside noise will not distract the squad.
âSomething new comes out in the press every day, but that is not important,â he added.
The striker also reflected on the clubâs recent Champions League exit to Atletico Madrid, admitting the defeat still lingers.
âIt always hurts,â Lewandowski said. âWe tried until the end. We fought, we wanted to win and be in the semi-finals. But thatâs football.â
Despite the setback, the Poland international believes Barcelona must respond immediately in the league.
âNow we have to concentrate on La Liga. We have a few games left and we want to win it,â he explained. âWe have great potential and players who always want to win. Football is not always fair, but we must think about what we can still do.â
Barcelona return to action against Celta Vigo on April 22 at the Spotify Camp Nou, before travelling to face Getafe CF three days later. With the title within reach, Lewandowskiâs message is clear: focus on the present, and the future will follow.
