Leeds sign goalkeeper Karl Darlow from Newcastle

Leeds have announced the signing of goalkeeper Karl Darlow from Newcastle for an undisclosed fee.

The 32-year-old has agreed a three-year contract at Elland Road.

Darlow is the West Yorkshire club's second signing of the summer following the arrival of Ethan Ampadu from Chelsea.

He could made his debut in next weekend's Sky Bet Championship match at home to Cardiff.

Darlow finished last season on loan at Hull after struggling for game time at St James' Park while competing with Nick Pope, Martin Dubravka and Loris Karius.

He began his career at Nottingham Forest before joining the Magpies in 2014.
