The 23-year-old defender joined the German side from Liverpool FC in July 2025 for a fee reported to be around 35 million euros. Since arriving, he has quickly established himself as a regular at the BayArena, featuring 38 times in all competitions this season.
Quansah has been a consistent presence in a campaign that saw Leverkusen compete strongly in both domestic and European football. Their run in the UEFA Champions League ended at the round of 16 stage after defeat to Arsenal FC, but the defender's performances have stood out.
Speaking about his form and mindset, Quansah made it clear he is enjoying his football again. "I want to show what I'm capable of and what I can give to this team and the fans," he said. "I've really enjoyed it so far, but it's not over yet. We have an important month ahead."
Leverkusen remain firmly in the race for a top-four finish in the Bundesliga, and Quansah is focused on helping the team secure Champions League qualification.
The move marked a major step in his career after rising through the ranks at Liverpool, where he spent 17 years developing in a high-pressure environment. He admitted the transition was not easy.
"It's never easy to move to another country," Quansah explained. "After the pressure at Liverpool, it's difficult to leave such a big club and try to build your own career. But I'm glad it's gone well so far."
Now settled in Germany, Quansah looks determined to prove himself and continue his upward trajectory.
