Brahim Diaz broke the deadlock in the first half, before Saibari effectively sealed the tie with a composed finish late in the second period.
Reacting to Morocco’s place in the final four of the continental showpiece, the PSV Eindhoven star looked back on a goal that’s likely one of the most important moments of his international career.
"Of course it's a big thing, especially when you know that we did not go to the semifinals in the last 20 years, so I'm very happy to go through and now we want to continue."
Saibari also applauded the strong Moroccan crowd at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, a near 70-000 seater.
Cameroon skipper Tolo Nouhou, meanwhile, says he is proud of how far an inexperienced side with several debutants got in the AFCON.
"To be honest, we are really disappointed. We played an amazing Moroccan team with young players, and unfortunately we conceded two goals from set pieces. I wish Morocco all the best, but for us, we will go back home and look to improve."
The defender believes The Indomitable Lions will return to the continental stage a lot stronger as they build for the future.
